Kids classes use capoeira games, rhythm, and movement to help students build coordination, focus, creativity, and respect.

Welcome to our kids programs.
Capoeira develops physical creativity and self-expression while lowering stress and increasing confidence. With practice and dedication, Capoeira improves strength, flexibility, coordination, agility, balance, and stamina.
We hope that kids and families feel welcome to join us in our Capoeira journey.

- Pants can be found online. Shirts will be provided when needed.

- Cords are earned annually in May, only if students consistently participate in classes.

For Families
A playful structure for learning discipline.
Young students learn capoeira through movement patterns, songs, instruments, partner awareness, and group play. Classes emphasize respect, body control, listening, and participation.

Mondays and Thursdays, 2:40-4:30pm for 2nd-5th grade at Moulton Elementary Gymnasium, 1541 8th Street, Des Moines, IA 50314. Free program; participate in fundraisers.
